« on: January 25, 2004, 07:30:58 PM »
OK...so Ive got XP here on 2 puters hooked up thru my Linksys.

The first puter we will call the network name of MAIN

the folder in question is S:\shared

so...Ive done the whole click thru on explorer and 'share' the folder...but how the heck do I get the SECOND puter to find it.  Ive clicked on network drive...and tried //MAIN/S/ and //MAIN/S/shared

what am I missing here?

When you have created your shared folder you gave it a name like "foo" you can access it this way : \\MAIN\foo
